Malayalam actress Bhavana Menon, who has appeared in Tamil films like Deepavali and Jayam Kondan, has spoken up about a traumatic incident in 2017 in which she was allegedly abducted and sexually raped in Kerala.

According to Indian law, the media and police concealed Bhavana's identity and name at the time. Bhavana also detailed how she has been humiliated throughout the years since the incident. Check out the post:

Many celebrities, including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Chinmayi, Parvathy, and others, commended Bhavana for voicing out on the matter by reposting her statement on the official Instagram accounts.

For the uninitiated, Bhavana was kidnapped and abused by a group of men in her car while returning home after a film shoot on February 17, 2017.
