Despite being away from cinema for over 10 years, comedian Vadivelu remains the crowd favourite, especially as a meme fodder.
A WhatsApp chat group named 'Nanbenda' which comprises cinema artists recently conducted a gathering in Chennai.
Among the attendees include Vadivelu who has seldom attended functions in recent years.
The actor who sang 'Ullathil Nalla Ullam' song during his speech, broke down, saying that unlike others who had been in lockdown for a year (due to COVID-19), he had been in lockdown for 10 years.
He further lamented that he wants to act in movies, but no one is giving him any opportunity.
