In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 3, Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan opened up on how he feels about being at the receiving end of constant criticism from the viewers because of his role as the host.

While the reality TV show has been very successful and has garnered millions of votes weekly, many viewers are voicing out their discontent and urging Kamal to stop associating himself with shows like Bigg Boss.

Many are advising the actor-turned-host to not degrade himself from the position of 'an intellectual'. Kamal's reply to that was spot on!

"I don't have time for questions like whether or not I'm an intellectual. I didn't come here with a degree. I'm learning all the time," he said.

He's hungry for knowledge and experience every single day. There's even a chance that he might die without attaining the position of being 'an intellectual'. So, he doesn't want to miss this opportunity in his pursuit to be an intellectual.

"I have this rare opportunity to mingle with millions of people like you. I'm not going to give up this chance to be called an intellectual. I'm proud to be here!" he added.

He insisted that the intellectuals can stay where they are, while he only loves being with the people (makkal). What a rocking reply to those who have been criticising him!
