In an epic LIVE conversation on Instagram, Kollywood's biggest gifts sat together and spoke about cinema, music, and how art helped them.

Kamal Haasan, the legendary actor who goes far and beyond to bring perfection to his roles and AR Rahman, the musical legend who's songs have redefined Indian cinema. It was a sight to behold, seeing the legends together even on a LIVE session.

Kamal Haasan admitted that he didn't spot AR Rahman earlier, only after the music director became famous because Kamal was consumed by Ilayaraja's music in the 1990s.

"Everybody says that I pick talents even before they become famous. However, I found AR Rahman only after he became famous. This is because I was blanketed by Ilaiyaraaja's music," he explained.

Kamal also revealed that he didn't like the song 'Kappaleri Poyachu' when he first heard. The actor and music director first worked in Indian. He only felt different after watching the song in the film.

"A few years ago, we worked on a new song. I would call it AR Rahman's best work. It's a song that is important. I would have been jealous of this song had gone to any other actor," Kamal opened up.

They are looking forward to releasing the song soon. It was pretty amazing to see two legends interacting in the presence of their fans. Who do you think Kamal should have a LIVE session with next?
