It's an absolute historic moment for Indian cinema!

Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic 'Project K' has been re-christened as 'Kalki 2898 AD' and became the first Indian movie to be featured at the San Diego Comic-Con, where the first look title glimpse of the movie lit up the audience's expectations.

There’s no denying that the spectators were enthralled with the first-look title glimpse of the movie, and the expectations have been hyped up yet again. Adding to the glory, the legendary actor Kamal Hassan was part of the panel discussion at the San Diego Comic-Con, and he confirmed playing the main antagonist in Kalki 2898 AD. This is certainly one of the most memorable moments in the history of Indian cinema!

Asking about his acceptance of his negative role:

“Without a negative, there is no positive. A negative role is an important role. Two negatives can make a positive. So I want to find out who the other villain is in the pool.” This has confirmed that apart from Haasan, there is another antagonist in Kalki 2898 AD.

With the release of the first glimpse of the movie, the makers have also teased its mythological references and the battle of good vs evil that will play out in the movie.

Further adding to the excitement, the movie will also feature special appearances from A-list actors such as Mahesh Babu, Suriya, and Dulquer Salmaan. The much-anticipated flick is scheduled to hit the theatres in 2024 and will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.
