Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has heaped sky high praises on actor Suriya's latest flick "Jai Bhim', directed by T.G. Gnanavel.

Taking to Twitter, the Makkal Needhi Maiam president wrote in Tamil: "My eyes pooled with tears, director T.G. Gnanavel has expressed with great conviction the strife of the tribal people. I congratulate Suriya and Jyothika for taking the voice of those deprived of speech to the consience of the mainstream society."
Kamal's comment comes after the 'Jai Bhim' team arranged a special screening of the film for the legendary actor.

"Jai Bhim", which released on Amazon Prime yesterday (Nov 2), deals with a righteous lawyer's (Suriya's) fight against the legal system to free a man belonging to a marginalised tribe accused of a crime he did not commit.

It has garnered all round praises from fans and critics alike. This includes Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who wrote a two-page letter praising the entire team, especially Suriya, for producing the film.

The film also stars Prakash Raj, Lijomol Jose, Manikanda, Guru Somasundaram, and Rajisha Vijayan, among others. Music is composed by Sean Roldan.
