Roshini, who played Kannamma at first, received her big break after appearing in the serial. She was replaced by a new actress Vinusha Devi just as things were heating up in the series between Bharathi and Kannamma after years of living in separation.
While viewers initially refused to accept Roshni's exit from the serial, Vinusha has gradually won their hearts with her performance, and the serial remains a fan favorite on Vijay TV.
Recently, Vinusha made a Reel with her on-screen daughter Hema and it seemed like Kannamma got pregnant again. Fans were pleasantly surprised with the video and bombarded the actress with questions about the pregnancy. Take a look at the video here:
However, it was later revealed that Kannamma appeared pregnant for a flashback scene. Guess the estranged couple is not getting back together any time soon.
