Actress Kushboo entered the Bollywood movie industry as a child artist in 1980, and moved her base to Chennai years later to act in South Indian movies.

She became one of the most successful actresses of South India and has worked in over 100 Tamil movies to-date.

Kushboo tied the knot with director Sundar C in the year 2000 and has two daughters named Avanthika and Ananditha.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed interesting details about their love life, and how they fell madly in love with each other.

"It was during the shooting of Sundar's Ullathai Allitha in Ooty, and I happened to be at the same location, shooting for a Malayalam movie."

"Mani Ratnam's 'Bombay' released and Sundar took me and the other crew members to watch the movie in a nearby theatre. But realizing our presence, a huge crowd gathered at the theatre. It was then Sundar assured that he will protect me, braced me through the crowd, and sent me back home safely."

She revealed that they started liking each other since then and Uyire song played a big role in their love life.

When Sundar proposed, Kushboo immediately accepted. After knowing each other for over six years, they tied the knot in 2000; a year after Sundar proposed.

"Till now he says that our wedding day is the saddest day of his life," she said jokingly.
