Astro is all set to telecast back to back series on Vinmeen which is set to highlight the importance of healthy marriages and marital fidelity through its upcoming Vinmeen exclusive series, Manam. 

Coinciding with the premiere of Manam, Vinmeen’s exclusive series slot has been extended from 30 minutes to a full hour, offering Malaysians two back-to-back local favourites : Pasanga S3 at 9.00pm and Manam at 9.30pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202). This enhancement not only enriches the viewer experience but also creates more room for local talents and production teams to showcase high-quality storytelling that resonates with Malaysians. 

Directed by SD Puvanendran and produced by Seelan Manoheran, Manam features a compelling blend of star-studded local and international cast, including Jayshree, Surrya Prakash, Subashini, Seelan Manoheran, Mathialagan, Ashwini Nambiar, and more.

Adapted from Astro’s signature local Malay series Layang-Layang Perkahwinan, Manam, Astro’s second consecutive Malay-to-Tamil adaptation, follows Sheena, a devoted wife who unwaveringly supports her husband Varun’s ascent to top leadership within the company. While juggling her roles as a loving wife, caring mother, and responsible daughter‑in‑law, Sheena keeps the household running seamlessly, even as she manages the pressures of her own career. However, cracks begin to appear when Varun’s behaviour takes a drastic turn. His frequent late nights and constant excuses trigger Sheena’s instincts, ultimately leading her to a devastating truth. Confronted by Varun’s infidelity, Sheena finds the courage to stand up for herself, even in the face of severe consequences from her influential in-law family. As Sheena fights for her dignity and freedom, Manam explores whether justice will ultimately prevail and if she can finally break free from the cycle of betrayal forming the emotional core of the series.
