Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has been arrested by Mumbai Police for the alleged offence of creating and publishing pornographic content.

The businessman was arrested on Monday after Mumbai Police Commissioner claims to have sufficient evidence against the accused, and the case was investigated since February this year.

Moreover, Model cum actress Poonam Pandey was also said to file a case against the businessman and his friends. A total of nine people was arrested.

Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty got married in 2009 and have two young children. Besides Bollywood movies, the actress has also worked in several Kollywood movies and took part in a reality show, Celebrity Big Brother, in 2007.
