Known for kickstarting the "era of remixes," Yuvan Shankar Raja's music has had a major influence on today's youth since the early 2000s.

He began his musical career young in the Tamil film industry with the 1997 film "Aravindan" and has delivered countless hit songs and memorable background music scores. His recent outings were Simbu's time-loop thriller 'Maanaadu' and Ajith's action flick 'Valimai.'

The sensational music composer celebrated his 25th year in the film business at a recent function in Chennai. Yuvan recounted an emotional moment with the media during which he was complimented by Thalapathy Vijay.

Vijay's manager Jagadish had previously shown him a photo of Vijay's son Jason Sanjay wearing a "Yuvanism" T-shirt to convey Jason's admiration for the music director. Yuvan went on to say that when he bumped into Vijay after the incident, the actor told him that he was the one who told his manager to send the photo.
