The couple met each other on the set of Naanum Rowdy Thaan, which was directed by Vignesh Shivn, which had Nayanthara in the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi as the hero.
The couple has been going on a rock-solid relationship ever since and recently the talks of their engagement surfaced when Vignesh posted a photo of Nayanthara's ring. It was captioned as "Viralodu uyir kooda korthu", and fans were speculating that the couple might be taking their relationship to the next level soon.
