AR Rahman is a musical genius who's not only celebrated in India but also by the citizens of the world. He has a huge fan following who loves and lives for his music.

AR Rahman has composed many award-winning and hit songs for Bollywood. One of his songs from the film 'Delhi 6' called 'Masakali', was a hit among the younger generation when it came out. Watch it here:


However, the song has been remixed as 'Masakali 2.0'. AR Rahman has slammed the new version of his song and tweeted about the hard work that went into the creation of the original song. Here's what he said:

The new version was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Tulsi Kumar and Sachet Tandon. It's official music video features Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria. Take a look at the video:


The new version has been widely critised on Twitter for its attempt at poorly remixing lively song. The original song's lyricist Prasoon Joshi hopes that 'the fans will stand for originality'.
