Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is a film produced, written, directed and starring only the multi-talented R. Parthiban.

The 2019 film, which features a single character (Parthiban himself) narrating his side of a story to the policemen after being embroiled in a murder case, won the Special Jury Award at the 67th National Awards.

Now, the film is going to be remade in the Indonesian language - the first ever Tamil film to get the honour.

According to reports, the project is taken up by a production house called PT Falcon.

Meanwhile, Parthiban has completed the shooting for the Hindi remake of the movie, featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead, and bankrolled by Amitabh Bachchan.

Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja is reportedly composing the music for the Hindi remake.

In addition, Parthiban is also currently working on his ambitious project Iravin Nizhal, which the 64-year-old actor says if the first ever movie to be shot in a single shot. Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman is composing the music for this film.
