V. Swaminathan is a famous producer in the film industry who has produced several movies of well-known actors such as Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth, Prabhu, Karthik, Suriya, Madhavan, Simbu and Dhanush.

The producer who sustained in the industry for over 25 years is the father of comedian Ashwin Raja.

Besides being a producer, Swaminathan has also made many cameo appearances in the movies.

Now the producer has breathed his last at a private hospital in Chennai, where he was seeking treatment for Covid-19.
