Minsara Kanavu is a 1997 Tamil film directed by Rajiv Menon, starring Prabhu Deva, Arvind Swamy and Kajol in lead roles.

The film received positive feedback after the theatrical release and its songs composed by AR Rahman are popular till today.

After 24 years of the film's release, Prabhu Deva and Arvind Swamy are rumoured to be joining forces again in a new film directed by Venkat Prabhu.

According to some sources, AR Rahman or Yuvan Shankar Raja are being considered for music. The official announcement regarding the film is expected to hit the headlines soon.
