The cooking reality show 'Cooku with Comali' boasts a huge fan following since its first season. The show pairs a good cook with a 'Comali' who has little to no experience in cooking. The chaos that ensues from the pairings gives comic relief to many of its audience.

Pugazh, Sivaangi, and Bala are some of the Comalis who became a sensation because of the show. Pugazh's inspiring story of struggle and his rise to fame has touched many of his fans. He hails from a middle-class family in Cuddalore and traveled to Chennai to try his luck in the entertainment industry.

Cooku with Comali was his big break and soon film offers started pouring in and he'll be seen in Ajith's upcoming film 'Valimai'. Last week, the star bought his first car and shared an inspiring video from the Hyundai showroom for his fans on social media.

Despite his success, Pugazh remains humble and kind. It was evident in a recent incident at Sivakasi. According to Behindwoods, a crowd of his fans stopped Pugazh's car to catch a glimpse of him. But the star got out of his car to shake hands and speak with them before leaving.
