Actor Rajinikanth's highly anticipated festive movie 'Annaatthe' is all set to release this Deepavali, and Rajini fans have already started the pre-celebration following the film's first look and motion poster release.

However, some of his fans' gruesome act has been widely condemned and a police report has also been lodged against the actor himself.

In the now-viral video, a group of Rajinikanth fans slaughter a live goat and pour the blood on the first look poster of the film. The gruesome act was committed in broad daylight on a street in Tiruchy, in the presence of women and children.

Following the inhumane act, the leader of the Rajinikanth Fans Club has released a statement condemning the fans. Meanwhile, many social activists and the general public have also lodged complaints.

It is also reported that a police complaint has also been filed against Rajinikanth as the actor has not opposed the act, and has remained silent to date. Check out the news here:
