Rap Porkalam 2 has set in motion! Once again, we are kickstarting the hunt for talented Malaysian Tamil rappers around the nation.

We called out to aspiring Malaysian rappers to audition for Season 2 of ‘Rap Porkalam’, Malaysia’s first Tamil rap competition, from 1st - 16th April 2021 on the Astro Ulagam website. THE AUDITION APPLICATION HAS BEEN CLOSED NOW!

A total 20 contestants will be shortlisted from the audition and will subsequently undergo intense rap battles over several elimination rounds.

‘Rap Porkalam Season 2’ will be hosted by popular local rapper, Emcee Jesz, and will feature award-winning Tamil rap local legend, Yogi B, and popular local composer, Navin Navigator as judges.

During the competition, shortlisted participants will be mentored by local rappers, Saint TFC and Sheezay.

The winner of ‘Rap Porkalam Season 2’ will take home a cash prize of RM20,000.
