For young actor Rithvik Jothi Raj, creativity goes beyond the camera. From learning Python and exploring robotics to starting a company with his friends, the young man is discovering new ways to turn curiosity into opportunity.

Child actor Rithvik Jothi Raj, who played Rajinikanth’s grandson in Jailer and its sequel Jailer 2, is drawing attention for a reason beyond his work in films. A recent interview clip featuring the young actor has been circulating on social media, with viewers intrigued by his interest in coding, robotics and entrepreneurship.

What makes his story interesting is how the idea began, not with a formal business plan, but with a few friends looking for something to do.

“We were just bored during video calls, so we thought, why not create a website? That’s how it started. We know a little bit of coding, so we decided to give it a try,” Rithvik explained during the interview.

When the interviewer asked whether he knew how to code, Rithvik casually replied that he knew Python. His answer surprised the interviewer, who remarked that she had only learnt about coding in college. Rithvik responded that he, too, had been taught it.

The conversation took another interesting turn when he was asked what other software or technical skills he knew.

“Creating robots. That’s about it,” he said.

His response offered a glimpse into his interests beyond acting, revealing a young mind curious about technology and the possibilities it offers.

Rithvik also spoke about what his company does. According to him, the team sells products through its website and offers courses online. However, he admitted with refreshing honesty that the website has not attracted many visitors yet.

“But nobody really comes to the website. We’re just keeping it running for now,” he shared.

While the venture may still be in its early stages, the experience itself appears to be part of the learning process. Building a website, exploring ways to sell products and offering courses can introduce young entrepreneurs to the practical realities of running a business, including the challenge of finding an audience.

When asked how many people were involved in the company, Rithvik explained that there were five main members, along with another five people who were part of the wider group.

The interviewer asked whether this meant he had five partners and five workers. Rithvik agreed when she asked about the partners, but he was quick to clarify his choice of words when the others were described as workers.

He said he would not call them workers, agreeing instead with the interviewer’s suggestion that they were helpers. It was a small but memorable moment in the conversation, adding a personal touch to his account of building something with friends.

Rithvik Jothi Raj is a young actor from Coimbatore who first gained attention through online videos, including content in which he portrayed multiple characters. He later appeared in films such as O2, Sardar and Lucky Baskhar, gradually building his presence across South Indian cinema.

He became more widely recognised after playing Rajinikanth’s grandson in Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, released in 2023. He subsequently returned to the role in Jailer 2, further connecting his name with one of Tamil cinema’s popular film franchises.

However, his recent interview has brought attention to another side of his life, one that involves coding, robotics, teamwork and business ideas.

Rithvik’s entrepreneurial venture may still be a work in progress, and he openly acknowledges that his website has yet to gain much traction. Yet, the story is less about the size of the business and more about the willingness to experiment, learn and try something new.

An idea born out of boredom has turned into an opportunity to explore technology and entrepreneurship. Whether the venture grows into something bigger remains to be seen, but his experience highlights how curiosity can sometimes be the starting point for something unexpected.
