Superstar Rajinikanth's latest commercial flick just hit the theaters and fans are raving about the star's stylish and mass scenes in the film.

However, not all the scenes have been well-accepted by the audience. It's believed that Thalaivar Rajinikanth's 'shopping in jail' dialogue in the film has sparked a controversy.

Superstar spoke about how 'some people are still going for shopping from jail' in a scene which is seen as mocking VK Sasikala, an aide of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

Sasikala has been alleged of shopping while serving a four-year jail term at Parappana Agrahara prison in Bangalore. A footage reportedly leaked from the prison showed Sasikala with her relative Ilavarasi (who was also convicted) walking into the main entrance of the prison in civilian clothing.

Although Sasikala's name was not mentioned in the scene, supporters of Sasikala are strongly against the scene and demand the removal of the dialogue from the film.

According to, her lawyer 'Raja Sendhoorpandian has announced that the controversial dialogue should be removed from 'Darbar' or he will file a case against both Murugadoss and Superstar Rajinikanth'.
