VJ Chithra's sudden demise early morning yesterday (9 Dec) came as a shock to the Tamil TV industry and her fans. Videos and photos of the serial actress have been trending on social media as her fans and friends share their heartbreak over her unexpected loss.
Following her mysterious death by suicide at a five star hotel in Chennai, many speculations have been making rounds in the media. Her fiance Hemanth who stayed with her at the hotel was questioned by the police. He admitted that they got married legally two months before her passing.
Chithra's friend and actress Rekha Nair has come out to make some shocking revelations about Hemanth and how Chithra's life has been troubled over the last six months.
In a recent interview, Rekha revealed that Chithra has been feeling stressed and tortured for the last few months every time they met at shoots.
"I've advised her directly many times and indirectly through our muthal friends that he (Hemanth) is not a good guy. She's hardworking, bold and strong. She went through many hurdles to taste success. But I don't know why she made the wrong decision in choosing her life partner," Rekha expressed.
