Recently, legendary singer SP Bala posted a video saying that he experienced mild Covid-19 symptoms like chest congestion, flu, and fever. When the singer's Covid-19 test result came positive, he was admitted to the hospital.

In the video, the singer assured his friends and fans that he is resting and recovering from the contagious disease. However, after more than a week of treatment, SP Bala's condition worsened, and he was admitted into the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

Soon, his son SP Charan released a statement saying that the singer's health is getting better and requested news media to refrain from spreading fake news.

However, a recent health update has revealed that SP Bala's condition is critical once again.

As reported by Indian Express, the update reads: Thiru SP Balasubrahmanyam who had been admitted at MGM Healthcare due to COVID-19 continues to be critical and is on a ventilator and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The expert medical team treating him is closely monitoring his vital parameters which are satisfactory at this point in time.”

We wish a speedy recovery for the legendary singer, and all our prayers are with him.
