Shruti Hassan is an actress and singer who has been in the cine world for more than a decade. When she turned 35 years old in January 2021, Shruti's picture with a Delhi-based Doodle artiste Santanu Hazarika during her birthday party caught the attention of many and he is Shruti's new boyfriend.

Shruti has been spending her days at home in Mumbai during the lockdown. She revealed that her cat and boyfriend Santanu have been accompanying her at home. However, she shared in a recent interview that she can't go on like this forever.

According to Indiaglitz, the actress admitted that she has financial constraints and will be working post lockdown. But, Shruti is careful with her films and made sure it's a safe environment to work in.

“I can’t hide out and wait for the pandemic to end. Being on set without a mask is very scary. I’m not going to lie. But we’ve to get back to work because I have financial constraints, just like anybody else,” Shruti added.

She also explained that she has to go back to work because she has bills to pay and needs to complete all her professional commitments.

It's inspiring to see that despite being the daughter of a legendary actor, Shruti chooses to be independent. Kudos to the actress!
