Kollywood sweetheart Nayanthara's love story with director Vignesh Shivan begins at the sets of 'Naanum Rowdy Thaan'.

Now the couple is in a steady relationship for over 5 years, and they're expected to tie the knot soon.

Vijay Sethupathi played the hero in the movie which became one of the most successful movies in his career.

But it was recently revealed that Vijay Sethupathi wasn't the first choice for the movie, but Vignesh Shivan approached Simbu first.

Simbu, Nayanthara's ex-boyfriend, could not commit to the movie and thus, Vijay Sethupathi was roped in to play the lead role.

But if Simbu has agreed to play the main lead, Nayanthara might have dropped out of the movie and would not have fallen in love with the director.
