Recently, legendary singer SP Bala hit the headlines when he posted a video revealing that he had mild Covid-19 symptoms such as chest congestion, flu, and fever. His Covid-19 test result came positive, and he was admitted to the hospital.

In the video, the singer requested his friends and fans not to contact him, as he is resting and recovering from the contagious disease. However, after more than a week of treatment, SP Bala's condition worsened, and he was admitted into the ICU.

Following the news, some news channels started sharing that the singer has passed away due to the virus earlier today. But, SP Bala's son SP Charan has put a full stop to all the fake news by sharing updates about his father's health.

Here's what he shared: "The news that is out on #puthiyathalaimurai is not correct. #spb is critical but is in safe hands at #Mgm healthcare. We are all confident that #spb Will be back with all of us sooner than later. Thank you all for your concern and prayers."
