Sonia Agarwal is an Indian actress who made her Kollywood debut in Selvaraghavan's 'Kadhal Konden'. The actress worked on several successful films, including Kovil, 7G Rainbow Colony, and Thiruttu Payale.

Sonia and filmmaker Selvaraghavan met on the set of the films and married in 2006. She retired from the film industry after her marriage.

However, the couple divorced four years later, and Selvaraghavan remarried a year later. Following her divorce, the actress is attempting to re-enter Kollywood.

In a recent interview, Sonia got candid about working with her former partner director Selvaraghavan, and actors Dhanush and Simbhu. She also opened up about her relationship and marriage with the director.

"I really liked Selvaraghavan's hard work and admired him when I worked with him. Then we got married with a heart filled with love, and we were both very happy in those times. We parted ways with great mental pain and anguish," she told Indiaglitz.
