Well-known actress and dancer Sudha Chandran recently hit the headlines when she posted a video on her social media pleading to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

She appealed to the PM to issue a senior citizen card to avoid intense questioning at the airports. The Bharatanatyam dancer lost her leg in an accident but returned to the entertainment industry with a prosthetic foot.

In the video, she explained how the security officials stop her at the airport. Despite her pleads to use an ETD (Explosive Trace Detector) from the CISF officers, they requested the actress to remove her artificial limb and show it to them.

Responding to Sudha's video, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) issued an apology and promised to get into the bottom of the issue by examining the female official involved.

For those of you who are unaware, Sudha has danced with her artificial limb and made the nation proud by performing in different corners of the world.
