Superstar Rajinikanth's highly anticipated Deepavali release 'Annaatthe' is a box office hit, however reviews from the audience and critics haven't been positive.

Annaatthe is a family drama that emphasies the love between a brother and sister. Rajinikanth plays the role of Kaalaiyan, a righteous and well-respected man in the village while Keerthy Suresh plays the role of his loving sister Thanga Meenakshi.

The mukti-starrer film also had famous names like Nayanthara, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu among others. A charcter artist named Kulappulli Leela played Rajinikanth and Keerthy Suresh's grandmother in the film.

Surprisingly, Leela is three years younger (67 years old) than Rajinikanth and has acted in a small role in his film Muthu. Thalaivar turned 70 years old this year. The news have become the subject of memes since Rajinikanth's calling an actress younger than him as his grandmother in the film.
