The ever charming Suriya is indeed in advanced talks with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for his Hindi debut in the epic film "Karna." This two-part historical film is set in the times of the Mahabharata, with Suriya playing the complex character of Karna.

Having said that, ‘Karna’ is planned to be a pan-India spectacle with a big release in multiple languages. The team is aiming to include actors from various industries, breaking regional barriers. Suriya believes that this is the right subject for him to make his debut in Hindi cinema.

Before starting work on ‘Karna,’ Suriya is expected to complete shooting for "Kanguva," directed by Siva, as well as his next film with Sudha Kongara. The production for "Karna" is scheduled to commence in 2024.

It's worth mentioning that the film industry is witnessing collaborations between South Indian actors and Hindi filmmakers for pan-India projects. Actors like NTR Jr, Allu Arjun, and Yash are alos venturing into Hindi cinema with high- profile times.
