Saran is an upcoming Kollywood actor who's well-known for participating in the Survivor Tamil S1. The actor became the first runner-up of the show after missing the title by just one vote.

Saran who got in trouble for using handphone against the show's rules was later eliminated by the other participants for the same reason. Despite the controversy, Saran made a strong comeback to the show from the third island and became one of the viewer's favourite contestants.

Now Saran has opened up about the phone conversation controversy that changed the course of his journey in the show. He reveals that everyone in the Kadargal tribe knows about Viji's phone conversation, but refused to confess the truth.
