Thala Ajith is a well-known name in Kollywood; a mass hero with tons of followers not only in India but also across the globe.

In a career spanning three decades, Ajith has had his share of hits and misses. But today, he is a phenomenal star. Despite avoiding public events and even his film promotions, the star remains popular.

His upcoming film Valimai, an action thriller directed by H. Vinoth. Huma Qureishi is playing the female lead. Late Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor is producing the film.

Valimai's shooting hs wrapped in February this year and fans were expecting It's first look for Ajith's birthday on 1st May, 2021. But Boney Kapoor announced that the first look release has been postponed due to the second wave of Covid-19 in India.
