Rumours surrounding the personal life of Kollywood superstar Thalapathy Vijay have once again sparked widespread attention online, with ongoing speculation suggesting that the actor and his wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, may be facing trouble in their marriage after nearly 27 years together.

While such claims have circulated across social media and entertainment platforms for some time, Vijay has now seemingly addressed the matter during a recent public appearance in Nellai, Tamil Nadu.

Speaking during an event, the actor appeared to hit out at those allegedly attempting to spread false narratives about him. Without directly mentioning the divorce rumours, Vijay stated that certain individuals had been trying various ways to target him and use those around him against him.

He further remarked that after waiting for years, some had chosen to spread rumours which, according to him, the public was already well aware of.

Vijay added that despite the various trials and allegations placed before him, nothing could separate him from the people who continue to support him.

For the uninitiated, recent reports had claimed that Vijay and Sangeetha could be heading for a separation, with rumours even alleging that a divorce petition had been filed. Additional unverified reports also circulated online suggesting accusations of desertion and claims involving an alleged extramarital relationship.
