Through his fan club, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, and other ways, the actor has aided countless people. According to the most recent report, Vijay is constructing a school to give offer free education for underprivileged kids who couldn't afford to pay school fees but want to learn.

Although an official announcement on the subject has yet to emerge, he is actively planning to build a school in Thiruporur, Chennai. On the other hand, Vijay has been running a free restaurant (Vizhai Illa Unavagam) through his fan clubs in numerous Tamil Nadu cities, offering free food to the poor.
