‘Namme Thalapathy’ Vijay has astounded the spectators after being ranked at the 15th position in the list of Google's most searched Asian stars, which is the highest for a South Indian actor. Among Tamil stars, Suriya (45), Dhanush (46), Rajinikanth (68), and Ajithkumar (78) are the only Tamil stars listed among the top 100 most searched Asians 2022.

Indeed a special mention needed for Vijay, as he was also listed in the top-searched South Indian actor in 2021, and he secured 19th in the Asia rankings. But this time, the prominent actor has climbed 4 places up in the list of most searched Asian stars on Google.

Having said that, the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar stands in the fifth position. Having missed out on a spot in the top 100 in 2021, Rajinikanth and Ajithkumar have now secured a place this time.

Apart from this, Kollywood actress Kajal Aggrawal (13th position), Nayanthara (33rd position), Samantha (17th position), Suriya (45th position) and Keerthy Suresh (62nd position) have secured a spot in the prestigious list.

On the work front, Vijay’s much-anticipated film Varisu will be having its release on Pongal 2023. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, this ultimate film surely will not disappoint his fans at any cost.
