Vijay is currently working on 'Master' with Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. And now it is said that Vijay Sethupathi has convinced Vijay to let his son debut in a movie under his production.

Vijay Sethupathi has acquired the Tamil remake rights for a Telugu movie titled 'Uppenna'. If the deal goes through, Jason will be playing the hero in the Tamil remake, with Vijay Sethupathi playing the villain.

Vijay Sethupathi has discussed the script to Vijay in the sets of Master, and Vijay has given the green light as he believes the strong storyline will be suitable for his son's hero debut.
