Top Kollywood actor Simbu is embroiled in another controversy as the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) led by actor Vishal has issued a red card for Simbu, deterring him from shooting for any films.

The actor just revamped his look and started shooting for Gautham Menon's next movie 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu'. But now the issues involving Simbu's 2017 film 'Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan' has resurfaced once again.

Following Vishal's decision to stop Simbu from working on future movies, Simbu's mom released a video slamming Vishal and the movie makers. She accused the producer of not paying Simbu's salary of Rs3.5 crores and claimed that the producer is not being cooperative even after Simbu has agreed to work on a movie without salary. She further said that the producer has failed to pay GST on behalf of Simbu.

Now producer Michael Rayappan has opened up about the incident and accused Simbu and his family of lying. He clarified and showed proof that he has paid most of Simbu's salary and hold Rs75 lakhs as Simbu refused to sign the contract for the second movie as promised.

Previously the producer revealed that Simbu refused to complete the movie as planned, and promised to act in a part 2 for free. Thus, the moviemakers had to stop the film halfway when the actor kept on changing the shooting location and refused to attend dubbing.

"I got bankrupt because of Simbu. We gave the complaint to Vishal when he was the head of the Film Producers Council and he has all the rights to penalise the actor. Simbu should pay GST for his earnings instead of expecting others to do so," said the producer. Watch his interview here:
