Remember Anu Aggarwal from Mani Ratnam's coming-of-age film 'Thiruda Thiruda'? She became an overnight sensation in Kollywood after her 'Konjum Nilavu' dance number in the film.

But despite her successful debut and rising demand, Anu Aggarwal appeared in less than a dozen films before completely vanishing from the film scene. It was later reported that the actress met with an accident in 1999 and fell into comatose for 29 days.

When she finally woke up, Anu couldn't remember anything about her past. It was with great struggle that the model-turned-actress found back her footing in life. She never returned to films after the accident.

Now, Anu is single and lives in Bangalore. Post recovery from the accident, she started powerlifting and joined many competitions. Sounds like a script out of a film right?

Recently, it was reported that Anu's biopic will be made into a web series and she's finally making a comeback after two decades. Anu will be playing her older self in the series.

The 51-year-old actress revealed in an interview: "To feel strong, to walk amongst humans with a tremendous feeling of confidence and superiority is not at all wrong. The sense of superiority in bodily strength is borne out by the long history of mankind paying homage in folklore, song, and poetry to strong women."

We hope to see her soon!
