Thalapathy Vijay recently hit the headlines when his father SA Chandrasekhar registered a political party named All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. Netizens started celebrating Thalapathy's political entry online.

But, within the hour, Vijay released an official statement denying his involvement with his father's party and requested his fans to not support the party. He warned that legal action will be taken against anyone who uses his name or images for political purposes. The statement shocked everyone as it was evident that Vijay was going against his father.

Now, his mother Shoba has revealed surprising details about the father-son duo. According to her, Vijay and his father are not on talking terms and are not on the same page regarding this issue.

In her interview with a leading new media, she explained: “Last month, SAC asked for my signature, telling me that he is going to begin an association. I signed and gave the document since I thought it was for the welfare of the people. Last week, he asked for another signature, and at that time, I understood that it was for a political party. I told SAC that I wouldn’t sign since he is doing this without Vijay’s knowledge or approval. I also withdrew the papers that I signed before and resigned from the party. He also agreed to it. But, Vijay has told SAC several times not to talk about politics in the media, but he never listened to it. So, Vijay is not talking to SAC anymore. I can’t comment on anything about Vijay or his political plans. Only he can answer, and he would be the right person to ask the questions."

Based on her statement, it's evident that Vijay is not interested in politics and is not happy with his father's plans to use his fame to achieve his political aspirations.
