Bigg Boss Tamil is a reality TV show aired on Vijay TV since 2017. The show has been hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan from Season 1 and is currently in its fifth season.

The actor, who returned from the US recently, informed fans via Twitter that he has been tested positive for Covid-19.

He was immediately isolated and admitted to the hospital. As the actor undergoes quarantine, fans are questioning if the makers of Bigg Boss are planning find a new host, at least for the time being.

It's believed that Kamal's eldest daughter actress and singer Shruti Haasan is being considered to take his place as the host on the reality show. Suriya and Ramya Krishnan are also said to be considered for the role.

Guess we'll have to wait for the official announcement from the channel.
