According to some reports, the actress died after prolonged illness. It's believed that she was diagnosed with jaundice a few months back and recovered. However, she got ill with jaundice again and was undergoing treatment.
Uma's Metti Oli co-star and friend Revathi gave an emotional interview and revealed interesting details about the late actress and their friendship.
"She loved my four-year-old son. When she was around, he was two years old. She really loves children. Her biggest dream was to have her own child. But the dream never came true until the very end," Revathi explained tearfully.
