Besides having tremendous talent, patience is also key for one to become a wholesome artist.
Vaisuriya Anpananthan is testament to that.
The KL lass recently secured a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) with her paper quilling art measuring a stupendous 6 feet in height, and 9 feet in width!
For the record, paper quilling is an art form that involves using strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs.
According to Vaisuriya, the recognition was given on Wednesday, June 6, under the category "The biggest paper quilling art by an individual".
It took her a whole month to painstakingly craft the piece at her home in the city.
Taking to Facebook, Vaisuriya thanked MBOR for the recognition, as well as the parents, for supporting her in her quest.
"I will continue making you both proud Ma, Pa," she wrote.
Congratulations, Vaisuriya! A worthy award indeed.
Here's wishing you all the very best in creating more grand art works in the future!
