Silambarasan, also known as STR or Simbu, had been embroiled in many controversies in the past. He took a sabbatical the last few years before making a massive comeback earlier last year.

The actor lost weight, revamped his image, and started working in films once again. Recently, he joined forces with Gautham Menon for an upcoming film called Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu.

The magical combo of Simbu-Gautham has given hits like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. Simbu's fans are eager to see the magical combo again!

However, while Simbu was busy filming, Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) led by actor Vishal, reportedly issued Simbu a red card, stopping him from shooting for any films. The reason for the red card is said to be related to the issues involving Simbus 2017 film Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan produced by Michael Rayappan and directed by Aadhik Ravichandran.

Simbu's mother Usha Rajendar has released a video detailing the incidents that resulted in the controversy and made angry statements towards Vishal.
