Kollywood hunk Vishal has been involved in his fair share of controversies since being elected as Nadigar Sangam (Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council) president. He was arrested by the Chennai police on December 2018 after a clash with film producers for his alleged mismanagement of the council.

Now, the actor is facing yet another arrest after the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court-II (ACMM-II) issued a non-bailable warrant for Vishal. The Income Tax Department filed a court case against his production company, Vishal Film Factory, over the non-payment of tax for five years.

At the hearing, the court was told that Vishal’s production company failed to pay the taxes deducted from its employees to the Income Tax Department. The case was filed against Vishal after the department conducted a raid in 2017.

However, the actor didn’t appear at several court hearings and eventually received a summons from the judge. But, even after getting the summons, Vishal didn’t appear at court. Due to his actions, judge S Malarmathi issued a non-bailable warrant against the actor.

He is expected to be arrested at any time.
