Recently, Bigg Boss Kavin's mother and grandmother were sentenced to jail for 5 years due to a chit-fund fraud case. While Kavin is unaware of the incident, netizens have started abusing and trolling the serial-turned-film actor and accused him of being part of the fraud.

Bigg Boss Gayathri and Kavin's fellow housemate Sakshi Agarwal came to his rescue by requesting their followers to respect him and give him the benefit of the doubt while he's in the house.

Following the abusive online attack, #WeStandForKavin hashtag became a trend on Twitter. The hashtag reportedly overtook the Prabhas' Saaho and was used in more than 100,000 tweets.

However, some of the netizens noticed something fishy. A lot of fake accounts have been created to tweet with the hashtag and some even claim that bots are the real reason why Bigg Boss Kavin became a trend.

So, it's uncertain if the bots and fake accounts were the reason behind Kavin's trending hashtag. But, it's rumoured that Kavin's fans and friends might have a hand in this matter.
