Legendary actor Rajinikanth is a megastar in Tamilnadu and has a huge fan following. His fans waited many years for the star to enter politics, but to everyone's surprise, the actor dissolved Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) after his return from a medical check-up in the US

Many of his fans and followers were disheartened by the news. In his statement to the media, Rajini said, "I had the intention of starting a political party and entering politics. But the timing was such that it was not possible."

The actor also cited his health condition, busy shooting schedule, and the pandemic as the reasons for his decision.

Following the announcement, Rajinikanth will be resuming his shoot for the upcoming film 'Annatthe' in Calcutta for at least four days. They will be soon wrapping up the final shoot for the film.

Guess Thalaivar will focus on films and continue to entertain his fans.
