Annaatthe is a recently-released Rajinikanth film directed by Siruthai fame Siva. The Deepavali release opened with great anticipation as many famous stars like Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Meena, Prakash Raj, and Jagapathi Babu were part of the mega project.

Similar to previous Superstar films, Annaatthe is a box-office success but surprisingly received negative reviews from critics and film-goers.

In a recent interview, director Siva revealed what Rajini had to say about Annaatthe's success.

"Every time I talk to Rajini on the phone, he happily says, 'Siva, the movie is a big success. We have won, Siva sir.”

"I would be very happy to hear him speak like that," the director added.

Next, Siva will be directing Suriya in a yet-to-be-titled film in which the actor is believed to be essaying a dual role.
