Chinni Jayanth is a well-known veteran artist in the South Indian cinema, who has played comedian roles in many famous movies and later turned into a director and producer.

The actor who was at the peak of his career in the 80s and 90s received the Kalaimamani Award for excellence in the field of cinema.

The actor and his wife Jayashri have two sons namely Sruthan Jai and Siddarth, who have yet to debut in cinema as heroes.



His elder son Sruthan has recently cleared his civil services exams and will be posted as an IAS officer in Tamil Nadu.

Sruthan revealed that his dad has never forced his children to enter the film industry, but always encourage them to follow their dreams.
