After a four-year sabbatical from cinema, Kamal Haasan returns to the silver screen in 'Vikram,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. In addition to Kamal, two other acting powerhouses, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil will play lead roles in the film.

Recently, the audio launch for Vikram took place at the Chennai Nehru Indoor Stadium, in the presence of the film's cast and many other actors, including Simbu, Radikaa, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Robo Shankar.

During his speech at the launch, Kamal revealed that veteran actor T. Rajendar broke down in tears at his home when he decided to leave the film industry for politics.

"Many people have advised me to act in at least one film per year. No one is a full-time politician. I am not even a full-time actor. Simbu's father, T. Rajendar, came to my home, hugged me, and cried when he learned that I was entering politics. He asked, "How can you be without cinema?" This question has kept me coming here," Kamal explained

Lokesh released the film's trailer on Twitter in conjunction with the event, and netizens were impressed to see the actors shining in every frame. Vikram will be released in five Indian languages on June 3.
