After a long break, TV serial Raja Rani fame Sanjeev and Alya Manasa sat down for an interview after the blessing of their first child, daughter Aila.

At the peak of her TV career, Alya got married to her co-star Sanjeev and got pregnant. She took a sabbatical from acting and focused on her pregnancy. After Baby Aila came into the picture, the couple was seen on Instagram spending time together as a family during the lockdown.

Now, with Aila becoming a 5-month-old baby, Alya Manasa is finally ready to return to serials and will be commencing with her first project soon. The shoot has already begun.

In the interview with Behindwoods, the celebrity couple talked about their life after marriage and their experience being parents to an adorable baby girl.

Alya also opened up that caste was one of the reasons why her family opposed their marriage at first and how they wanted her to be independent instead of getting married. However, she was confident that Sanjeev was her man and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

Sanjeev also revealed that he did most of the house chores, and Alya can be a little lazy when it comes to doing work around their house, but she's a great mother and was willing to sacrifice her career for a year to give birth to their child.

Talking about the difference between being in love and married, Alya was a little frustrated that she couldn't stay in love forever.

"Who came up with the idea of marriage? We should have stayed in love forever," she joked in the interview.
